Our integrated therapies department at Memorial Health System offers inpatient and outpatient massage therapy by contracted licensed massage therapists.

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body, including the skin, tendons, muscles, and connective tissues, to enhance the body's own healing capabilities. Varying degrees of pressure are applied to the body and different techniques are used to achieve a desired outcome.

Inpatient massage therapy is available to hospital patients on a self-pay basis with their physician's approval. Outpatient massage therapy is also available. Massage therapy may be covered by insurance. Check with your insurance carrier for coverage details.

Massage therapy is also available to the public at the rate of $27.50 for 30 minutes or $55 for 1 hour.
