alert system for seniors called Home Companion Monitor – an easy-to-use,
electronic device designed to signal a friend, relative or emergency
service whenever help is needed. The system has two parts:
The Home Companion provides peace of mind,
independence and convenience for older persons who live alone, family
caregivers and individuals with high-risk medical conditions.

How Home Companion Works
The Home Companion connects to a land phone
line. Whenever you may need help, at any time, you push the button on
your pendant or wrist transmitter and your signal reaches a 24-hour
monitoring center.
No matter what the need – a medical emergency,
getting up after a fall, fear of an intruder or even loneliness (perhaps
requiring nothing but a comforting voice over the monitor) – the Home
Companion will put you in touch with another person.
The Home Companion gives you freedom to be in
the basement or attic of your home, your yard, across the street – up to
approximately 300 feet from the base unit in any direction.
The pendant or wrist unit is lightweight (less than 2 oz.) and small (only 1 1/2 x 2 inches). It also is waterproof for use in the shower or tub.
The Home Companion program is designed to meet your individual needs and will guarantee your 24-hour-a-day monitoring from people who care. The base unit is voice to voice! You can talk with the monitoring center.

The Monitoring Center
Once the system is activated, your call will be received by one of the specially-trained attendants at the monitoring center. The attendant will know who you are and will have all the necessary information regarding your medical history, allergies and medications.
The monitoring center will have telephone numbers of people you have selected in advance, as well as emergency numbers of your local ambulance, police and fire department. All this and much more will appear on a computer screen directly in front of the attendant in less than one minute from the time your call is received.

What Happens in the Case of a Power Failure
If there is a power failure, the Home Companion has a backup battery unit and will continue to work.

The Home Companion comes with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. If at any time your product should fail or need service, notify us. The Home Companion will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Our equipment is state-of-the-art.
