Memorial Health System Hosts 15th Annual “Run For Hope” on 7/15

Memorial Health System’s Cancer Center will host their 15th annual “Run For Hope” fun run/walk fundraising event, benefiting Memorial’s cancer patients and their families, on Saturday, July 15, beginning at 7:00 a.m. in Memorial Park. Pre-registration cost is $15 per entry or $20 on race day. Registration and sign-in time is 6:00 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. All registered participants in the five-kilometer race will receive an event T-shirt and are eligible for additional prizes and giveaways. Awards also will be issued to the top male and female finishers.

Run for Hope proceeds will be designated for Memorial’s Circle of Hope fund, which provides supplemental assistance to cancer patients currently undergoing treatments – including provisions for transportation, lodging, meals and medication costs. “The cancer experience can take its toll in a number of ways,” says Deb Marshall, administrative support supervisor of radiation oncology at Memorial’s Cancer Center. “Participation is a great way to show your support for our patients, get some exercise in a scenic setting and meet some extraordinary individuals.”

For registration information or additional details, contact Deb at 365-6707.
