New Intensive Care Unit Opens at Memorial Hospital North

Memorial Hospital North (4050 Briargate Parkway) opened in 2007 to meet the health care needs of northern Colorado Springs residents. In an effort to continue to provide the highest quality health care, Memorial is opening an intensive care unit (ICU) at Memorial Hospital North.
Patients requiring critical care intervention related to medical and/or surgical conditions will be cared for in this area of the hospital. Experienced critical care physicians and nurses will be on staff to meet the immediate needs of patients. Located on the 4th floor of the hospital, the brand new unit will have ten private rooms, all with state of the art equipment in a warm, comfortable environment. The new ICU will open for patients on Mon., Jan. 26.
With integrated electronic medical records, along with highly trained critical care nursing staff, the new facility will offer the highest level of patient care. Each room has a flat screen TV, CD/DVD player and plenty of room to seat family members.
