For Immediate Release
July 20, 2009
Dr. Larry McEvoy, chief executive officer of Memorial Health System, has selected Carm Moceri to be the new chief strategy officer. Moceri has been working at Memorial on an interim basis for the past 14 months focusing on organizational alignment and strategy, and, most recently, serving as the interim chief strategy officer. He was chosen following a national search.
“Carm brings extensive executive experience having worked as president of several Missouri and Michigan health systems,” McEvoy said. “His deep commitment to Memorial’s mission, vision and values combined with his industry knowledge and his passion and capacity for strategy and innovation set him apart from the very strong candidate pool.”
Memorial Health System provides comprehensive health care to more than 200,000 patients and families annually through more than a dozen outpatient facilities and three hospitals (Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North and Memorial Hospital for Children). Memorial’s roots date back to 1904, when the Methodist Church opened Colorado Conference Deaconess Hospital. As our community has grown, so has Memorial. Today, Memorial Health System is on an important journey to achieve its mission to provide highest quality health care for patients, families and community.
