New Chief Nursing Officer to Join Memorial Health System

Larry McEvoy, M.D. chief executive officer of Memorial Health System, has selected Linda Goodwin to be Memorial’s new chief nursing officer (CNO). Goodwin, RN, MSN, MBA, CNAA, FACHE has most recently served as Chief Nursing Officer/Vice President for Patient Care Services at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kan. Prior to that, she held the CNO role at Hutchinson Hospital Corporation in Hutchinson, Kan.
“Linda comes to Memorial with experience as a chief nursing officer at two great health care organizations” McEvoy said. “I look forward to her becoming a key member of our leadership team as we work to develop an outstanding health system where patients heal and people thrive.”
As chief nursing officer, Goodwin will be responsible for overseeing all patient care areas at Memorial Hospital Central and Memorial Hospital North. Goodwin holds an MBA from Kansas Wesleyan and a Master of Science in Nursing from Fort Hayes State.
