Any time a child needs hospital care is a difficult time for families. Memorial helps to ease these experiences by providing a family centered care environment. We work closely with parents by including them in the decision-making process. We've found that making families part of the care team helps improve the child's comfort level and hastens the child's recovery.
Whatever a child's illness or injury, the staff at Memorial Hospital for Children and in partnership with The Children's Hospital in Denver are dedicated to providing the care your child needs. We will work closely with pediatricians and many other physicians who are pediatric specialists. Our pediatric surgeons handle any type of surgery, from common to very complex procedures.
We have designed an environment with the needs of a child in mind. Our inpatient unit, the Pediatric Center, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Trauma Center all have child-sized equipment and compassionate staff trained in caring for children.
Children with asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, cancer, cleft palate and other illnesses benefit from over a dozen Pediatric Specialty Clinics dedicated to their specific concern.
