This prestigious team of experienced trauma professionals includes board-certified emergency and trauma physicians always on duty, experienced nursing staff with emergency and trauma training and emergency department liaisons for communication and support to family members.

Chest Pain Center
This four-bed unit, staffed by coronary care and emergency room nurses and physicians work to diagnose a patient’s condition within minutes. Open 24-hours a day and located in the Emergency and Trauma area at Memorial Hospital Central, the Chest Pain Center team can evaluate heart attack symptoms quickly and begin treatment with medications or catheterization that can save heart muscle and lives.
