Memorial Cancer Imaging
Cancer is being detected earlier than before thanks to new advances in imaging technology that allows us to see inside the body—to monitor what’s happening with our organs, tissues and bones. Imaging technology also enables us to target treatment more directly and effectively because of the extra sight it gives us. It can even be used in combination with techniques that can guide minimally invasive treatment procedures.
Paring with our internal experts in Radiology Services, cancer imaging provides crucial information for staging (determining how advanced the cancer is), as well as treatment selection, planning and assessment of how well a patient is responding to the treatment.
In addition to x-rays, our physicians have numerous imaging options available to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, including:

- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Computed Tomography (CT)
