Memorial Expansion Projects
Serving as a cornerstone of the Colorado Springs community for more than a century, Memorial Health System is dedicated to meeting the ever-growing and changing health care needs of southern Colorado. This is supported through Memorial’s operational strategy that includes significant expansion—expansion in access to care and service offerings.
Over the past two years alone, Memorial has initiated five major expansion projects:
- A new main entrance to Memorial Hospital Central connected to a seven-story, 1,500-space parking garage
- Briargate Medical Campus
- Memorial Administrative Center (MAC)
- 300,000 plus square foot Memorial Hospital Central addition
- Memorial Hospital North
The combined estimated cost for these projects is nearly $300 million, funded through system revenues, bonds and community contributions.
