Pharmacy Practice Residency Program

Memorial Health System is located in Colorado Springs at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains and serves the southern Colorado communities. Memorial is a level II trauma center with three hospitals - Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North and Memorial Hospital for Children in partnership with The Children's Hospital (700+ beds in all) - and outlying clinical facilities throughout Colorado Springs.

Memorial’s Pharmacy department has more than 60 full-time equivalents (FTEs) and offers a 24/7 service with kinetic dosing services, decentralized pharmacist practice, anticoagulation services, rounding with each specialty service, participation on the Code Blue team and more.

Our residency program offers two Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) program positions. We are accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). This 12-month program offers an excellent opportunity for residents in our large acute care facility.
