This means, you may receive an additional bill from your physician for fees associated with services he/she performs, such as radiology, emergency or anesthesiology. You will also receive a billing statement from Memorial Health System when your physician uses our laboratory services, even if you did not visit Memorial Health System for testing. For example, you will be billed if your physician sends a biopsy, blood or urine sample for us to analyze. NOTE: It’s very common for insurance companies to send their members a claims statement for reference. This is typically NOT a bill, just for information.
