Memorial Health System is accredited by the Colorado Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education for health care professionals. The Continuing Medical Education (CME) office arranges symposiums for physicians, nurses and allied health professionals. These seminars are conducted in Colorado Springs and offered throughout southern Colorado.

The mission of the CME department is to provide up-to-date, comprehensive continuing medical education programs for the medical staff, referring physicians and all others whom may benefit, in order to enhance the medical care provided in the market Memorial Health System serves. CME programs at Memorial Health System are developed from topics identified by the medical staff and quality assurance studies. The CME program works closely with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and Colorado Medical Society (CMS) to maintain full accreditation of the hospital program.
